Donald Trump called out the media over their Iran coverage.

Trump blasted CNN, saying, “Fake News CNN said today, routinely, that my Iran Nuclear Deal doesn’t talk about Nuclear, when actually it states, very clearly, that Iran will not have a Nuclear Weapon. It then goes on, in very strong and lengthy detail, to discuss various other aspects of Nuclear. In fact, that’s what most of the agreement is about.”

Truth Social:

Fake News CNN said today, routinely, that my Iran Nuclear Deal doesn’t talk about Nuclear, when actually it states, very clearly, that Iran will not have a Nuclear Weapon. It then goes on, in very strong and lengthy detail, to discuss various other aspects of Nuclear. In fact, that’s what most of the agreement is about. CNN, and so many others in the Fake News Media, is a Low Ratings disaster. Even with new ownership, it is unlikely to ever get better!!! President DJT

Trump was reportedly responding to a segement on CNN Newsroom.

Yahoo News reported:

The row began during a segment on CNN Newsroom. Anchor Jessica Dean told viewers that Donald Trump “is seeking changes to the text of a potential deal, insisting on tougher language on Iran’s nuclear commitments and plans to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.”

Correspondent Julia Benbrook had earlier provided details on the framework under discussion. She reported that sources said a memorandum of understanding could extend negotiations by 60 days on key issues, including “Iran’s nuclear program” and “the fate of the stockpile of highly-enriched uranium.” Benbrook also relayed that a White House official confirmed Trump would only agree to a deal that “addresses his red lines,” specifically his position that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon.

Trump has made it clear Iran can’t have a nuke.

Trump sent a clear message to Iran, saying on the issue of Iran not having a nuclear weapon, the United is “going to get it one way or the other.”

The Center Square reported:

As negotiations to end the Iran war continue, President Donald Trump says one thing is certain: the U.S. won’t let the nation have a nuclear weapon.

“Right now we are negotiating and we’ll see, but we are going to get it one way or the other,” the president said from the Oval Office on Thursday. “They’re not going to have a nuclear weapon.

“You will have a nuclear war in the Middle East and that war will come here. That war will go to Europe,” he continued, “And we cannot let that happen and it won’t happen. It’s not going to happen. That’s more important than anything else. I can’t think of anything more important than we can’t let Iran have a nuclear weapon, and we won’t.”
