Democrat Rep Jasmine Crockett accused Republican Lee Zeldin of taking money from Jeffrey Epstein.

U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) delivered a scathing rebuke on the House floor Tuesday, where she accused several prominent Republicans, including former presidential nominees and a former president, of taking money from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Crockett leveled the allegations while arguing against a GOP resolution to censure Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI), which she labeled a “distraction” and questioned the “moral high ground” of those involved. She then listed several Republicans, claiming her team had quickly reviewed FEC filings.
Lee Zeldin, the current Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, fired back, saying, “Yes Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine.”

According to latest Federal Elections Commission (FEC) reports, Zeldin did in fact receive a campaign donation from Jeffrey Epstein – just not the Epstein Crockett was referring to.
“Yes Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine,” Zeldin fired back on X.
“NO FREAKIN RELATION, YOU GENIUS!” he added.
