Dan Bongino is leaving the FBI in January.

In a post announcing his departure, Bongino thanked “President Trump, AG Bondi, and Director Patel for the opportunity to serve with purpose.”

Bongino was the Deputy Director of the FBI.

He is expected to return to his podcast.

Trump praised Bongino, saying he “did a great job.”

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino confirmed Wednesday he has resigned his position.

Prior to becoming the FBI’s Deputy Director, Bongino ran his own media company, publishing The Bongino Report.

Before that, he hosted The Dan Bongino Show on Rumble after a run hosting Unfiltered with Dan Bongino on Fox News until April 2023.
